Elizabeth Rose Wilson
Enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who approaches every challenge with a positive attitude. Enjoys meeting and helping people and working as part of a team. Currently a Second year at St Mary's University doing a BA(Hons) in Drama & Applied Theatre. Recently done Site Specific Theatre at Kew Gardens. Now doing Verbatim Theatre and Theatre for Change. Outside of Uni, currently a member of 'Acting Now co-Workshop' ran by Luke Disparrow. Previous drama workshops: Royal Shakespeare Company workshop with Smooth Faced Gentleman Improvisation workshop with Shoot from the Hip, Physical Comedy workshop with Victoria Jane Appleton, Participated in a 6 month Drama and Devising project and a 1 week Physical Theatre workshop with King's College School. Took part in a 1 week Muscial Theatre Audition Technique workshop with GSA Summer School, attended a 1 day Acting audition workshop Recenly written a short play'House Viewing' for Scratch Night as part of Kryptonite plays. Wrote a 5 line play which was performed at Orange Tree's Fun Palace. Wrote a 20 minute play for my creative writing module. Member of the Dram Society at University. Taken part in the ensemble and playing Ali in the musical Rent. Hosted live radio shows with SMUC radio. Previously done a Theatre in Education module playing Titania and Hippolyta in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' while working with Guy Jones. Directing & Partitioning experience: 2014- Lead a 1 hour drama workshop to year 9s at The Green School 2014- Helped lead year 8 and Year 10 Drama classes at Richmond Park Academy 2014- Lead Drama games to Applied Theatre students as part of TIE module 2012- Two weeks of work experience at Ursuline High School's drama department. Learned to direct and choreograph year 7- year 9 pupils on their workshop, 'Anything Goes'. Music skills/Experience: Achieved Grade 7 Piano and Grade 5 flute.Took one one one singing lessons with Anna Gilthorpe for 2 years at Ricards Lodge. Dance skills/Training: St Mary's Dance Society- Contemporary and Jazz, 2013-2014 Standard 7 ballet training and pointe work with Cherry Dunn, 2006-2013 Ballet productions with Cherry Dunn including: The Firebird, The Night Before Christmas & The Snow Queen) Volunteered as a Young leader for a 3 day dance workshop with 'Step into dance'- 2012
